This all-bevel panel in the front door of a 1905 home had reached the end of its structural life. More than a century of expansion and contraction had deteriorated the original colonial-style zinc came beyond repair, and many of the bevels needed to be recreated.

The panel was releaded in period-appropriate zinc came, and the damaged bevels were custom-reproduced by Andreas Lehmann of Lehmann Glass Studio in Oakland to match the originals exactly. The panel was reinstalled with every bevel intact.

This window, likely original to the house, is built to last another century.
