A 1912 wood-frame residence in San Francisco's Presidio Heights neighborhood was undergoing extensive renovation when its Gothic window needed restoration. The building contains multiple units, each with leaded glass windows sharing the same original design — making accuracy not just a matter of craft, but of architectural continuity.

The window was removed, restored true to its original design, and reinstalled. Positioned high above the building's front entry steps, it required scaffolding to access.
