Two original commissions for 2070 San Jose Avenue — one of Alameda's most celebrated Victorian homes, built in 1893 — created three years apart and designed to feel as though they had always belonged to the house.

The balcony door window (2015) is a full beveled composition: chrysanthemum rosettes set in a field of marquise bevels, with jewel accents in red, blue, and gold. Rich red side panels frame the whole.

The front door transom (2018) displays the house number in lavender leaded glass within a white oval, flanked by mirrored scroll-work in custom quarter-inch bevels and surrounded by a richly colored Victorian composition — amber, red, teal, and green — with jewel accents throughout.

Visitors to the house assumed the transom was original to the building.
